Founded in 1992, the Foundation for the Future has funded vital academic programs for the past 17 years that have steadily improved student performance. Designated a 2007 California Distinguished School, M-A today is among the top-ranked high schools in the country and the future is bright.

The generous support of our donors advances our Foundation's goal of providing a better educational experience for every M-A student by funding smaller class sizes, an expanded course offering, professional development for our teachers, college and career prep, and essential programs and services.

The Foundation is the only fundraising group at M-A that is able to pay salaries for teachers and staff. This year alone, we will provide over $900,000, more than 90% of our total proceeds, to support the salaries of key teachers, academic support personnel and college counseling staff.
